Daniela Delahuerta

BIOGRAPHY:

Daniela Delahuerta was born in Mexico, raised in Phoenix, Arizona and is a graduate from the conservatory program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City with a focus in Musical Theatre. 
Daniela began her vocal training with Angela Anderson of The Anderson Institute of Music and Performing Arts in 2007, also trained by broadways' Arielle Jacobs , NYC Met Opera's finest, Byron Singleton and currently working with Martín Sola.
Daniela also studied ballet, flamenco, and modern at the School of Ballet Arizona.
Daniela started off her career as a performer in 1999 as a mouse in Ballet Arizona’s The Nutcracker. Once her love for dancing grew, she participated in more of Ballet Arizona’s performances such as Copelia and Swan Lake. She then decided to pursue a career in musical theatre. Some of her highlight musical theatre roles include Anita in West Side Story (Tibbits Opera House), Consuelo in West Side Story (Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts), Alice in Thoroughly Modern Millie (
Thingamajig Theatre Company), Mona in Chicago: The Musical ​(Ivoryton Playhouse), Liz in Chicago: The Musical (Phoenix Theatre), Beale St. Ensemble in "Memphis: The Musical" (Phoenix Theatre), and Mad Alice in Adante’s Original "Mad Alice" (American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Student Vision).
